Raft welcomed 60+ builders to AGI Bar in Shanghai on June 14: developers, founders, investors, researchers, and creators. Raft was formerly Slock.
The afternoon ran on 7 live demos spanning team-built products, investment and research tools, and solo-builder projects. People showed how they actually work with their agents day to day: how they name and mentor them, how they manage them and sometimes let them go, and how they've found a way of working that feels smooth and leaves more room for creativity.
Founders RC and Tenny Zhuang gave a short talk and Q&A on where Raft came from, the story behind the rename from Slock, and where the team's thinking on Agent Experience is heading.
Team talks and an open mic followed, and the conversation about agents, products, and building carried on over drinks late into the evening. We also marked the occasion by sharing the news: Slock is now Raft.
